Community Involvement
The Florida Hawks believe in giving back to the community. The following is a list of Charities or other organizations that believe in giving back to our community as well.
FishHawk Turkey Trot
Seeds of Hope is a local food bank in Lithia, and is primarily funded through the FishHawk Turkey Trot race. Proceeds from the race provide food assistance to our community for a year. Seeds of Hope provides food assistance through a weekly distribution at our food bank and through our Backpacks of Hope program, which provides weekend bags of food to local identified students. What started as a simple concept has grown exponentially, but the basic idea has remained. The mission of Seeds of Hope, Inc. is to provide help to local people in need and meaningful community service hours for students.
Living for Logan Foundation
Our Mission. The Living for Logan Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to the fight against distracted driving. Our primary missions are to ultimately eliminate the distracted driving epidemic through education and legislation, while also supporting victims and families affected by similar tragedies.
Dylan Quesada and Seeds of Hope
Dylan Quesada lead the efforts to bring our Hawks community together. When the food bank shelves were empty he challenged our soccer community to pull together and deliver 1,547 non-perishable items.
