Florida Hawks FC Announces Promotion of Juan De Brigard to Executive Director of Soccer

Florida Hawks Futbol Club (Florida Hawks FC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Juan De Brigard to the new role of Executive Director of Soccer. In this position, De Brigard, who led the competitive side of the Club as Director of Coaching since 2017, will oversee the Hawk’s competitive and recreational programs in addition to taking on an additional supervisory role over the administration of the Club.

The position, which will report to the Club’s Executive Board of Directors through the President, is also responsible for establishing and meeting long and short-range objectives for the Club’s Competitive and Recreational programs.

De Brigard brings to the role 40 years of uninterrupted work in the soccer industry with time in Europe, South America, and almost 20 years in the United States. During his years with the Club, the Hawks Competitive Program has grown from 260 to 420 players and from 17 to 28 teams competing in high-level leagues including NPL, DPL, FCL 2, FCL DEV, CDL, USA, Sunshine Conference, and FSPL. The Hawks have also become a Players First licensed club by US Club Soccer and are part of the Ascender Affiliate Program of IMG which allows players, selected by the IMG coaches, to play and train at the top levels of Youth Soccer in the United States.

“I have spearheaded the positioning of the Club inside the FishHawk community and inside the Florida Soccer community,” said De Brigard. “The Florida Hawks FC is nowadays a Club that is looked at with respect by our umbrella organizations and by the other Clubs. For the next four years, we have to work on making the Florida Hawks FC a Club that is known at the Regional and National levels. I have constructed a strong network of relationships with many organizations that will be our springboard to achieve that goal.”
