Florida Hawks Futbol Club (Florida Hawks FC) is excited to announce a partnership with Nagele College Planning (NCP) to aid high school-aged players with college recruiting by offering information on the selection of a college, financial options, and much more. 

According to NCP President and CEO Siggi Nagele, almost 90 percent of parents state a college education is what they want most for their child, but most have no idea where to start. 

“Parents are advised to have their child go to their school counselor but the average student-to-counselor ratio is 460:1,” said Nagele. “This leaves a real disconnect; along with a shortage of advice, information, and real-life facts. Students need these tools to pursue higher education. So where do they go? NCP provides guidance, counseling, tools, advice, and, most importantly, honesty.” 

Nagele, who has coached soccer for more than 30 years with time at Eckerd and Florida Southern colleges, acted as NCAA National Chairman for Division II Women’s Soccer, NSCAA South Region Chair All American Committee, FYSA/Region III Olympic Development Staff Coach, and Olympic Development Program (ODP) Administrator for FYSA is also a certified college advisor with Advanced Credentials.  

Thanks to the Club’s partnership with NCP, high school-aged Hawks players will have the opportunity to tap into Nagele’s knowledge and experience with group meetings, timelines, information about creating a college portfolio, continued education, and support through email and phone calls until a school/soccer program is selected. Additional one-on-one services, including video production, are available upon request. 

“Our program uses state-of-the-art service but with a personal touch,” said Nagele. “We deliver one-on-one interaction providing detailed instructions every step of the way. Each student receives a personalized strategy with organized timelines so parents and students can plan accordingly, no matter what grade they’re currently in.”
