Florida Hawks FC Expands Mighty Hawks Program With Soccer Shots 

Florida Hawks Futbol Club (Florida Hawks FC) is pleased to announce the expansion of its Mighty Hawks program for children two to four years old. The program, which is currently open for registration for the fall season, takes place on Saturday mornings for eight weeks. 

“Soccer Shots is extremely excited to be partnering with Florida Hawks FC,” said Brandon Crane, Soccer Shots Executive Director. “Soccer Shots has been coaching in the FishHawk area since 2009 and many of our first players have grown up and continued their soccer career at Florida Hawks FC.” 

According to Florida Hawks FC Board of Directors Vice President Elvis Mota, the program is designed to provide an age-appropriate family soccer experience for young children. This is the Club’s second year partnering with Soccer Shots, a nationally recognized program with almost 25 years’ experience. 

“We have had a great experience working with Soccer Shots who are experts in beginner soccer and look forward to being able to offer the program to more future soccer players,” said Mota.  

Due to the success of the partnership, up to eight sessions will be offered in the fall, a maximum of four for two-year-olds and four for three- and four-year-olds. The session for two-year-olds is 25 minutes with a maximum of eight players and the three and four years old have a 45-minute session with up to 12 players. 

“After our initial call with Florida Hawks FC, we knew we had the right partner that believes in creating an experience that is best for the child and family, just as we do here at Soccer Shots,” said Cara Jahnke, Soccer Shots President of Operations. 

During the eight sessions, which involve parent participation, children will work on balance, running, jumping, turning, hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness while developing core motor skills and learning about the game of soccer.  

Sessions are run at the Florida Hawks FC fields in partnership with Soccer Shots.
