Recreational (2018-2005)

Florida Hawks Futbol Club Recreational Soccer Program is a soccer program devoted to the enjoyment of the game in a fun environment that teaches life lessons and develops the individual person on and off the field without the emphasis on travel or high level competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills.

FHFC offers two recreational programs: In-House (Fall and Spring) & TARSA (Fall only).

In-House Recreational Program

The In-House recreational program is a program that is held entirely at the FishHawk Sports Complex. All practices and games are located at the sports complex. All league players, coaches, and officials are registered within Florida Hawks FC Club. Children benefit in many ways from participating in recreational soccer. This includes a positive team environment, working together, individual and group problem solving, and psychosocial development through social interaction and soccer challenges.

Key Elements to Identify with the In-House Recreational Program

  • Tryouts, invitations, recruiting, or any similar process to roster players to any team on the basis of talent or ability is prohibited.
  • A system of rostering players is used to establish a fair or balanced distribution of playing talent among all teams participating.
  • League rules require that all players should receive equal playing time each game except for reasons of injury, illness, or discipline.
  • Success is measured by the level of enjoyment of each team, and individual player’s experience.
